Yet another quality release on 3345 Recordings, this time from respected Belgian producers Merayah & Karada. In a period of overkill and look-a-likes it’s great to hear tracks that really stand out. Gipsy is definitely a track people will remember after a night of partying: the original mix reminds us of typical gipsy music and the folkloristic sounds create a great atmosphere, while the funky beats make sure the people on the dancefloor won’t get bored. Merayah’s Cuba mix is a slightly different approach and will get the crowds moving even more. New Dutch producers Funkovic & Le Benz show with their unique remix that we can expect some crazy stuff from these guys in the upcoming future. Their remix transforms the exotic original into a funky affair by mangling the various instruments and adding some freaky twists and turns. Especially the crazy break will cause some serious mayhem in the clubs!
