Loops - Tuner

Boris Acket and Sebastiaan Smink are Loops, two talented youngsters from the Dutch city of Amersfoort. Already famous in the Netherlands thanks to their uplifting live-set, these guys deliver a unique blend of minimalistic house and melodic sounds. Their debut EP for the legendary Outland Records features two tracks: ‘Tuner’ takes off with some severely cutted-up radiovocals that create a freaky vibe. When some nice chords are introduced, 'Tuner' changes direction and turns into an amazing funky but stylish house-affair. On the flipside we find the more straightforward ‘16, maybe 17, maybe 18’ which features a catchy vocal and some nice vocodered sounds. Thanks to the fat basses and freaky glitches this will definitely do its job on the dancefloor. In short a great EP from Loops!
