Leigh Brooks goes oldschool with ‘Three O 3’, a track ‘dedicated’ to the infamous TB-303 sound that created acid house. Although reminding us of long forgotten raves, the well-crafted original mix sounds very fresh: the energetic bassline and funky percussion work perfectly, while the warm synth builds towards a nice climax, resulting in the moment we have all been waiting for: the introduction of the squelching and munching 303. Yes people, bring out those glowsticks! Fabio Stein turns the tempo up a notch by adding some more techy elements in his Funk’d Up Tech Rework. Warning: The breakdown will cause some serious panic on the dancefloor, so be careful with this one! In short: two powerful tracks that will do a superb peaktime-job!
