Vincent de Moor

If you like trance, there is no doubt you are familiar with the tunes of Vincent de Moor. This Dutch trance-guru was one of the key players in the early trance period and inspired thousands of young producers worldwide with his unique melodies and catchy themes.

Born in Delft, Holland, Vincent started his career as producer in 1993. Under his nicknames Fix to Fax, Sidewalk and M. Theatre he produced many floorfillers which began his launch to success. After starting the label Funny Vinyl, the people from infamous Combined Forces record label noticed that Vincents productions were becoming better and better. The first records for his new label were received very well, and DJ Remy, one of Holland's most famous DJ’s, asked him to deliver a production for his new label Taste.

Vincent de Moor’s career really took off in 1997, when he stormed the UK dance charts with the classic trance tune Flowtation, which was released on the prestigious XL Recordings. In 1998 Vincent returned with the single ‘Orion City’ which is followed by the album ‘Orion City’. In 1999 the Dutch Trance sound blew up, especially in the UK. Vincent teamed up with fellow Dutchman Ferry Corsten to form Veracocha. Together, they delivered one of the biggest trance anthems of all times, ‘Carte Blanche’. In 2000 the album ‘Moor’ was released, which also contained the beautiful single ‘Fly Away’. In 2003 Vincent started a new project called Questia, which was released by Armada. After some years of silence Vincent de Moor is back once again with his label More Moor that will release remixes of his best tunes.
