Marcos – real name Mark Dearden – became one of the UK's best known trance producers in a very short period of time. By writing and remixing a staggering number of tracks over the last five years, he has forged himself an excellent reputation as a producer. In 2005 Marcos had his big breakthrough with 'Cosmicstring', one of the most successful trance tracks of the last few years. Signed to Paul Van Dyk's Vandit Records, it was PVD's official track of the year 2005. In 2006 ‘Ad Infinitum’ was signed to Armin Van Buuren's A State Of Trance label and became a big success. 2007 marked a significant new chapter in Marcos’ career as he launched his record label Kerf Music. The track ‘Time To Believe’ became a big hit with the major DJ's across the world, with numerous compilation licenses before the official release date.

As Marcos’ success as a producer kept growing, he also got the chance to display his skills as a DJ. He has performed at all kinds of big events including GodsKitchen, Gatecrasher, Passion, Dance Valley, Slinky, Inside Out, GoodGreef, Promise, The Gallery and Slide. With Mark’s radio show on TranceAirwaves.com, his own label Kerf Music at Cloud 9 Dance, and his productions lighting up hi-fi's as well as dance floors, Marcos isn’t planning on stopping yet!
