Jochen Miller

Jochen van der Steijn, born in the Dutch city of Mill, developed his interest in dance music at an early age. The lucky fact of his father having a discotheque gave him the opportunity to practice his mixing skills. The young artist already managed to create his own recognizable sound, which can be described as style-blending tech-trance: energetic, uplifting and high quality. Characterized by up-tempo powerful melodies, few breaks and constant pumping bass lines, the charismatic Jochen Miller is ready to make it to the top.

Inspired by all of the pumping club tracks he played for his audience every week, Jochen Miller decided to start producing his own dance music in 2001. Working hard in the studio and being dedicated to the fullest, Jochen Miller’s first vinyl, ‘Vanity’, did very well in the international dance scene. The follow-up ‘India’ made it to the high positions of dance-charts around the world as well. Soon m ore hits followed, working alone or with other respected producers like Cor Fijneman and Boy Lamoen. As word of his phenomenal productions spread, the demand for Jochen Miller as a DJ grew naturally, which resulted in various successful gigs in the Netherlands, Spain, Greece, Finland, Poland, Germany, Scotland, England and the USA.

By combining his skills both as dj and producer, Jochen Miller will stay true to his typical sound: quality techno, combined with trance influences and spiced up with some progressive.
